Common questions
Does every processor take whole deer?
No. Some only take deboned meat. Zick's Specialty Meats in Berrien Springs takes deboned trim only, not whole deer. Call ahead before you bring a deer.
Where can I donate venison?
Processors marked as Sportsmen Against Hunger partners were on the group's 2025 list. Ask the processor whether it is taking donations this season.
